How do I create a Buzz Account?

Welcome to Buzz! To join the hive, click on Sign Up, located at the top right hand corner of the site. Use either your Facebook Account, Google Plus Account or email address to register and you can join the Buzz community!

Why should I create an Event Listing on Buzz?

Would you like to advertise your event in Trinidad and Tobago for FREE? Would you like to advertise on a forum that makes finding local events much easier than other networks such as Facebook? Would you like to reach people who are searching for exciting events to occupy their free time? Would you like to reach out to a more diverse audience than your current mailing list? Well, why not use Buzz! There is a wide range of people all over T&T, whether local or enjoying a visit to our twin islands who would like to know about and attend your event.

How do I create an event on Buzz?

To create a FREE event, you must be logged into a Buzz Account. Click *insert photo of Add Event Button* located at the top right corner of the site. You will be relocated to a Create Your Event Form which you will fill with your event information. If the Location of your event is not available from the “Search For A Location” bar, you can click *insert photo of Add Location* and fill out the additional information. After adding all your event information, click *insert photo of Publish Button* and voila! You now have an event on Buzz! If you click on *insert photo of Save Button* instead of *insert photo of Publish Button* your event will be saved as a Draft which can only be viewed by you. To make the Draft public, you can visit your *insert photo of Event Manager*, which is located by clicking on the downward facing arrow next to your User Profile Photo on the top right corner of the site. You will see all the Drafts, Past and Upcoming Events you have added to Buzz’s Event Listings. You can click “Manage” under the Draft and you will be redirected to an “Update Your Event” form. When you have made your edits, click *insert photo of Publish Button” in order for the changes to be saved and the information to be made public.

How do I edit an event on Buzz?

To edit your event, you must be logged into your Buzz Account. Visit your *insert photo of Event Manager*, which is located by clicking on the downward facing arrow next to your User Profile Photo on the top right corner of the site. You will see all the Drafts, Past and Upcoming Events you have added to Buzz’s Event Listings. You can click “Manage” under the event you would like to edit and you will be redirected to an “Update Your Event” form. When you have made your edits, click *insert photo of Update Button” in order for the changes to be saved. Please note you cannot edit Past Events.

I added my event but I’m not seeing it! Can you help me?

Of course we can! If you clicked on *insert photo of Save Button* instead of *insert photo of Publish Button* your event was saved as a Draft which can only be viewed by you. To make the Draft public, you must be logged into your Buzz Account. Visit your *insert photo of Event Manager*, which is located by clicking on the downward facing arrow next to your User Profile Photo on the top right corner of the site. You will see all the Drafts, Past and Upcoming Events you have added to Buzz’s Event Listings. You can click “Manage” under the Draft and you will be redirected to an “Update Your Event” form. My event images are being cut! How do I fix them?

Your images are being cut because they exceed the dimensions we have provided. Event Flyer Images should be no wider than 960 pixels and no taller than 960 pixels. Event Banner Images should be no wider than 825 pixels and no taller than 310 pixels. Once you have resized your event images, you can replace your old ones by editing your event.

How do I arrange Buzz Photography for my event?

Where do I view photos Buzz Photographers have taken?

Enjoy viewing all the fun we’ve had photographing various events and activities happening all over T&T our Galleries section! It’s easy to access, click on Galleries located at the top left of the website, right next to the Search Bar. I'm looking for photos the Buzz Photographers took. When will they be uploaded? Our Buzz Photographers take fantastic photos and we know you’re anxious to see them, but we take time to painstakingly edit each and every photo that we've chosen to share in an album. We take pride in providing you with quality images, but the process is time consuming, especially when we’re busy attending multiple events within a short period of time. We strive to share albums within 7 days after the event has passed. So please keep calm while we make sure those photos we captured look their best.

How do I contact an Event Promoter for an event listed on Buzz?

When you visit an event listing, any contact information provided by an Event Promoter will be displayed directly under the name of the event. This can include their telephone number, email address, Website and Facebook Page. Sometimes contact information can also be found in the Event Details section if an Event Creator has chosen to include the information in that section. An Event Promoter can choose not to provide any contact information on their Event Listing.

Please note Buzz is not directly affiliated with any Events listed on our website and, therefore, not directly affiliated with Event Promoters. As such, we cannot contact them on your behalf.

How do I see what’s happening close to my location?

While signed into your Buzz account, click *insert photo of Discover Button* located on the top right of our website. Now click on the green “Show Map” bar and have fun discovering Events near your location!

How do I contact a Venue listed on Buzz?

When you visit a venue listing, any contact information provided by the Venue Creator will be displayed directly under the name of the venue. This can include their telephone number, email address, Website and Facebook Page. Sometimes contact information can also be found in the About section if a Venue Creator has chosen to include the information in that section. A Venue Creator can choose not to provide any contact information on their Venue Listing.

Please note Buzz is not directly affiliated with any Venues listed on our website. As such, we cannot contact them on your behalf and do not conduct business on their behalf.

How do I become the owner of an Event or Venue Listing?

Have you visited the page of a venue that you own that you did not create? Are you the promoter of an event and your party has been added on Buzz by someone else? It’s simple to claim your page! This will allow you to access special Buzz Features including the ability to manage the information displayed in your listing. Once you have logged into your Buzz Account, visit the listing you would like to claim and click *Insert photo of Claim Event*. A request will be sent in to us, and once we can confirm the validity of the request, you will be made owner of the requested page!

If you have created a listing by using the Add Event or Add Venue feature, you are already the owner of the listing and do not need to claim the listing.

What's showing in the cinema?

Have you checked Buzz Movies yet? Click on Movies, located at the top left of the website, and you can see what’s showing in Trinidad and Tobago's cinemas right now! Click on a movie poster to see the showtimes, trailers, extra posters and more. Make sure you leave comments by rating the movie for your fellow movie watchers, help them choose a great film!
